Ingredients
1 cup (240g) full-fat, plain Greek yogurt (ensure it’s unflavored)
1/2 cup (60g) egg white protein powder (NOT whey protein)
1 tablespoon (15g) baking powder
Instructions
Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
Step 2: In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine the egg white protein powder and baking powder. Whisk them together thoroughly to ensure even distribution.
Step 3: Add the full-fat, plain Greek yogurt to the dry ingredients.
Step 4: Using a sturdy spatula or spoon, mix all ingredients until a thick, sticky dough forms. It will seem crumbly at first, but keep mixing until it comes together.
Step 5: Turn the dough out onto the prepared baking sheet. With wet hands, gently shape the dough into a loaf, approximately 1-1.5 inches thick. You can make it round or rectangular.
Step 6: Bake for 25-35 minutes, or until the loaf is golden brown on top and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Step 7: Remove the 3 Ingredient Zero Carb Greek Yogurt Bread from the oven and transfer it to a wire rack. Allow it to cool completely before slicing to ensure the best texture.
Notes
Ensure you use full-fat, plain Greek yogurt and specifically egg white protein powder, not whey. Cooling completely is crucial for the best texture. This bread stores well and can be frozen.
