baked burrata amazing roasted tomato bliss - Baked burrata surrounded by roasted cherry tomatoes and fresh basil in a ceramic dish.

Baked Burrata with Roasted Tomatoes

A luxurious and easy appetizer featuring warm, blistered tomatoes and creamy burrata cheese.

  • Total Time: PT35M
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale

2 cups cherry tomatoes, mixed colors
3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
3 cloves garlic, smashed
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 ball (8 oz) fresh burrata cheese
1 tablespoon balsamic glaze
1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, torn
1 baguette, sliced and toasted

Instructions

Step 1: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare a shallow baking dish or cast-iron skillet for your baked burrata amazing roasted tomato bliss.
Step 2: Toss the cherry tomatoes, smashed garlic, olive oil, salt, and pepper in the baking dish until the tomatoes are well coated.
Step 3: Roast the tomatoes in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until they have burst and released their juices, essential for that baked burrata amazing roasted tomato bliss flavor.
Step 4: Remove the dish from the oven and move the tomatoes to the sides, making a space in the center for the burrata.
Step 5: Place the burrata ball in the center and return the dish to the oven for 3-5 minutes just to warm the cheese through without melting the shell completely.
Step 6: Remove from the oven, drizzle with balsamic glaze, and garnish with fresh basil. Serve your baked burrata amazing roasted tomato bliss immediately with toasted bread.

Notes

Always use room temperature burrata for the best texture. If the cheese is too cold, the center won’t soften properly.
