Ingredients
2 oz Premium Vodka
4 oz High-quality Tomato Juice
1/2 tbsp Prepared Horseradish
2 dashes Worcestershire sauce
2 dashes Tabasco or preferred hot sauce
1/2 oz Fresh Lemon Juice
1/4 oz Fresh Lime Juice
1 pinch Celery Salt
1 pinch Ground Black Pepper
Ice cubes
Garnish: Celery stalk, lemon wedge, green olives
Instructions
Step 1: Rim a tall glass with a lemon wedge and dip into a mixture of celery salt and smoked paprika for a savory edge.
Step 2: Fill the glass to the top with large ice cubes to ensure the drink stays cold without melting too fast.
Step 3: In a cocktail shaker or mixing glass, combine the vodka, tomato juice, lemon juice, lime juice, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, horseradish, and black pepper.
Step 4: Instead of shaking, gently ‘roll’ the drink by pouring it back and forth between two mixing glasses 3-4 times to mix and aerate.
Step 5: Strain the mixture into your prepared glass over the fresh ice.
Step 6: Garnish with a fresh celery stalk, a lemon wedge, and a skewer of olives or pickled vegetables.
Notes
For a thicker drink, use a chilled tomato puree or V8. For a spicier kick, add a half teaspoon of jalapeño juice.
