The Ultimate Candy Monster Bark

A fun, colorful, and incredibly easy candy monster bark recipe featuring vibrant swirls of candy melts, edible eyes, and festive sprinkles.

  • Total Time: 20 minutes
  • Yield: 12 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale

12 oz Bright Green Candy Melts
6 oz Vibrant Purple Candy Melts
6 oz Electric Blue Candy Melts
1/2 cup Assorted Candy Eyes (various sizes)
1/4 cup Rainbow Sprinkles
2 tbsp Mini Chocolate Chips

Instructions

Step 1: Line a large rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat to ensure the candy monster bark recipe doesn’t stick.
Step 2: Place the green, purple, and blue candy melts into three separate microwave-safe bowls.
Step 3: Heat the green candy melts in the microwave in 30-second intervals at 50% power, stirring between each, until completely smooth. Repeat this process for the purple and blue melts.
Step 4: Pour the melted green candy base onto the prepared baking sheet and spread it into an even layer using an offset spatula.
Step 5: Drop random spoonfuls of the melted purple and blue candy onto the green base.
Step 6: Use a toothpick or the tip of a knife to gently swirl the colors together, creating a marbled effect for your candy monster bark recipe.
Step 7: Immediately scatter the candy eyes, sprinkles, and mini chocolate chips over the wet surface, pressing very lightly to adhere.
Step 8: Allow the bark to set at room temperature for 1 hour or refrigerate for 20 minutes until firm, then break into shards.

Notes
