Ingredients
2 oz Licor 43
2 oz Freshly brewed espresso
Large ice cubes
Optional: Orange twist for garnish
Instructions
Step 1: Fill a rocks glass with large ice cubes to chill while you prepare the drink components.
Step 2: Brew a fresh double shot (2 oz) of high-quality dark roast espresso.
Step 3: Combine the Licor 43 and the hot espresso in a cocktail shaker filled with plenty of ice.
Step 4: Shake the mixture vigorously for 15-20 seconds until the shaker is icy cold and a thick foam has formed.
Step 5: Strain the mixture into the prepared rocks glass and garnish with an orange twist if desired.
Notes
Always use fresh espresso for the best foam. Shaking hard is the key to the ‘shakeado’ style.
