Ingredients
1 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup sour cream
2 chipotle peppers in adobo sauce
1 tablespoon adobo sauce from the can
1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Step 1: Place the mayonnaise, sour cream, chipotle peppers, and adobo sauce into a blender or food processor.
Step 2: Add the lime juice, garlic powder, onion powder, and fresh dill to the mixture.
Step 3: Pulse or blend on high speed until the sauce is completely smooth and the peppers are fully incorporated.
Step 4: Taste the dressing and add salt or pepper if needed; blend once more to combine.
Step 5: Transfer the dressing to an airtight container and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to develop.
Notes
For a thinner dressing, add a splash of buttermilk. Store in the fridge for up to 7 days.
