Ingredients
1 pound frozen Swedish meatballs (or homemade)
8 ounces egg noodles
1 cup sour cream
1 can (10.5 ounces) cream of mushroom soup
1 cup beef broth
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Salt and pepper, to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Step 2: In a large pot, bring water to a boil and cook the egg noodles according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Step 3: In a large mixing bowl, combine the sour cream, cream of mushroom soup, beef broth, garlic powder, onion powder, Worcestershire sauce, and season with salt and pepper. Stir until well combined.
Step 4: In the bowl with the sauce, add the cooked noodles and frozen meatballs. Gently fold everything together until the noodles and meatballs are evenly coated in the sauce.
Step 5: Transfer the noodle and meatball mixture into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish, spreading it out evenly.
Step 6: Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top of the mixture.
Step 7: Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the meatballs are heated through.
Step 8: Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
For an extra crispy topping, broil for 2-3 minutes at the end, watching carefully to prevent burning! This dish can be assembled ahead of time and baked later!
