A vibrant platter of Cookie Nachos overflowing with chocolate, caramel, whipped cream, sprinkles, and fresh fruit, ready to be shared.

Ultimate Cookie Nachos

A fun, customizable, and utterly delicious dessert featuring broken cookies as the ‘chips,’ drizzled with sauces and piled high with your favorite sweet toppings. Perfect for sharing!

  • Total Time: 15 minutes
  • Yield: 4-6 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale

24 oz (approx 20–24 cookies) pre-made chocolate chip cookies (or other favorite cookie)
1/2 cup chocolate chips (milk, dark, or semi-sweet)
1/4 cup caramel sauce
1/4 cup white chocolate chips (optional)
1 cup whipped cream
1/2 cup fresh berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
1/4 cup mini marshmallows
2 tbsp sprinkles
Optional: chopped nuts, crushed candy bars, pretzel pieces, melted peanut butter

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare Your Cookies. Arrange your desired quantity of cookies on a large platter or baking sheet. Break any larger cookies into pieces that resemble nacho chips – aim for irregular, bite-sized shapes that are easy to pick up.
Step 2: Melt Your Chocolate and Caramel. In separate microwave-safe bowls, melt the chocolate chips and white chocolate chips (if using) in 30-second intervals, stirring well after each, until smooth. Heat the caramel sauce slightly if it’s too thick to drizzle easily. Transfer sauces to squeeze bottles or use a spoon for drizzling.
Step 3: Arrange and Layer the Base. Spread the broken cookie pieces evenly across your serving platter or plate. Overlap them slightly to create a generous base, just like traditional nachos.
Step 4: Drizzle the Sauces. Generously drizzle the melted chocolate and caramel sauces over the cookie pieces. Ensure to cover as many pieces as possible.
Step 5: Add the Fun Toppings. Dollop or pipe whipped cream strategically over the sauced cookies. Scatter fresh berries, mini marshmallows, sprinkles, and any other desired toppings across the platter.
Step 6: Serve Immediately. Cookie Nachos are best enjoyed fresh, allowing the cookies to maintain their texture against the soft toppings and warm sauces. Encourage everyone to dig in!

Notes

Feel free to get creative with your cookie base and toppings! This recipe is all about customization and fun. Best served immediately for optimal texture.
