Ingredients
12 oz can (355ml) Coca-Cola (or your favorite dark soda)
1–2 tbsp coconut syrup (such as Torani or Monin)
1–2 tbsp coconut cream (or half-and-half)
1/2 fresh lime, juiced (approx. 1 tbsp)
Ice
Instructions
Step 1: Gather all your ingredients: Coca-Cola, coconut syrup, coconut cream, fresh lime, and plenty of ice.
Step 2: Fill a tall glass generously with ice, about two-thirds to three-quarters full, to ensure your dirty soda is perfectly chilled.
Step 3: Pour 1 to 2 tablespoons of coconut syrup over the ice. Adjust the amount to your desired level of sweetness and coconut flavor.
Step 4: Squeeze the juice from half of a fresh lime (approximately 1 tablespoon) into the glass, adding a bright, zesty contrast to the sweetness.
Step 5: Slowly pour the 12 oz can of Coca-Cola over the ice and other ingredients, leaving a little room at the top for the cream to be added.
Step 6: Gently add 1 to 2 tablespoons of coconut cream (or half-and-half) over the top of the soda. Watch as it beautifully swirls, creating the signature ‘dirty’ effect.
Step 7: Using a spoon or a straw, gently stir the dirty soda a few times to combine the flavors without losing too much of the carbonation.
Step 8: Garnish with a fresh lime wedge or slice, and serve immediately to enjoy your perfectly crafted Classic Coconut-Lime Dirty Coke.
Notes
Feel free to adjust the amount of syrup and cream to your personal taste. For a richer flavor, use full-fat coconut cream. For a lighter version, use diet soda.
