Ingredients
1 cup whole wheat flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/4 cup creamy peanut butter (Xylitol-free)
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup pumpkin puree (plain)
1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
1 large egg
For Frosting: 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
For Frosting: 2 tbsp creamy peanut butter
Instructions
Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 6-inch round cake pan with a small amount of coconut oil or non-stick spray.

Step 3: In a separate large bowl, combine the 1/4 cup peanut butter, oil, pumpkin puree, applesauce, and egg. Mix until smooth.
Step 4: Gradually add the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined. The batter will be thick.
Step 5: Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
Step 6: Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Step 7: Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
Step 8: For the frosting, mix the Greek yogurt and 2 tbsp peanut butter until smooth. Spread over the cooled cake and decorate with your dog’s favorite biscuits.
