Ingredients
3 cans (15 oz each) canned peaches, undrained
1 box (15.25 oz) yellow cake mix
1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
Brown sugar, to taste (optional)
Cinnamon or nutmeg, to taste (optional)
Instructions
Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Step 2: Pour the three cans of canned peaches, including their juice, into a 9×13-inch baking dish.
Step 3: Evenly sprinkle the dry yellow cake mix over the peaches.
Step 4: Drizzle the melted butter over the cake mix, ensuring it’s moistened evenly across the top.
Step 5: If desired, sprinkle brown sugar, cinnamon, or nutmeg over the cake mix layer for extra flavor.
Step 6: Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
Step 7: Let the peach cobbler cool for at least 15-20 minutes before serving.
Notes
For a thicker sauce, drain some peach juice and mix with 1 tbsp cornstarch before adding to the peaches. Try different cake mix flavors like spice or vanilla for a unique twist. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
