Ingredients
12 oz semi-sweet dark chocolate chips
6 oz white chocolate melting wafers
24 candy eyes
1 tsp coconut oil (optional, for thinning)
Halloween-themed sprinkles (optional)
Instructions
Step 1: Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat to prepare for the ghoulish ghost bark.
Step 2: Melt the dark chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second increments, stirring until completely smooth.
Step 3: Spread the melted dark chocolate onto the prepared baking sheet in an even layer, about 1/4 inch thick.
Step 4: Melt the white chocolate wafers similarly until smooth and fluid.
Step 5: Drop small spoonfuls of the white chocolate onto the dark chocolate layer. Use a toothpick to drag the bottom of each white dot to create a ghost tail.
Step 6: Place two candy eyes on each white chocolate ghost while the chocolate is still wet.
Step 7: Add optional sprinkles around the ghosts for extra color.
Step 8: Place the tray in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or until the ghoulish ghost bark is completely firm.
Step 9: Break the ghoulish ghost bark into irregular shards and serve.
Notes
Ensure the white chocolate is fluid enough to swirl. If it is too thick, add a tiny bit of coconut oil.
