Green tea shot recipe - Two vibrant green tea shots in glass shooters on a bar counter

The Perfect Green Tea Shot

A refreshing, fruity, and smooth whiskey-based shooter that tastes exactly like peach green tea despite containing no actual tea.

  • Total Time: 5 minutes
  • Yield: 2 shots 1x

Ingredients

Scale

1 ounce Jameson Irish Whiskey
1 ounce Peach Schnapps
1 ounce Sour Mix
1 splash Lemon-Lime Soda (like Sprite or 7-Up)
Ice cubes

Instructions

Step 1: Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice cubes to ensure the drink is thoroughly chilled.
Step 2: Pour 1 ounce of Jameson Irish Whiskey, 1 ounce of Peach Schnapps, and 1 ounce of sour mix into the shaker.
Step 3: Secure the lid and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until the outside of the shaker feels very cold.
Step 4: Strain the mixture evenly into two chilled shot glasses.
Step 5: Top each glass with a quick splash of lemon-lime soda and serve immediately.

Notes

For a homemade sour mix, combine equal parts fresh lemon juice, lime juice, and simple syrup.
