Ingredients
1.5 lbs Jumbo Shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 cups Broccoli florets
1 Red Bell Pepper, sliced thin
1 cup Snap peas
2 tablespoons Avocado oil
3 cloves Garlic, minced
1 tablespoon Fresh ginger, grated
3 tablespoons Low-sodium soy sauce
1 tablespoon Honey
1 teaspoon Toasted sesame oil
1 tablespoon Toasted sesame seeds
2 Green onions, sliced
Instructions
Step 1: Preheat your Blackstone griddle to medium-high heat (approximately 400°F).
Step 2: In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, minced garlic, and grated ginger to create the stir-fry sauce.
Step 3: Toss the shrimp in one tablespoon of avocado oil and a pinch of salt and pepper.
Step 4: Apply the remaining tablespoon of oil to the griddle surface and spread the broccoli, bell peppers, and snap peas across the hot surface.
Step 5: Squeeze a small amount of water onto the vegetables and cover with a basting dome for 2 minutes to steam-soften.
Step 6: Remove the dome and push vegetables to a cooler zone. Place shrimp in a single layer on the hottest part of the griddle.
Step 7: Sear shrimp for 90 seconds per side until they are pink and opaque.
Step 8: Combine the shrimp and vegetables in the center of the griddle and pour the sauce over everything.
Step 9: Toss quickly with spatulas for 30-60 seconds until the sauce bubbles and glazes the ingredients.
Step 10: Remove from heat immediately and garnish with sesame seeds and green onions before serving.
Notes
Ensure the shrimp are very dry before placing them on the griddle to achieve the best sear. If using frozen shrimp, thaw completely and pat dry with paper towels.
