Ingredients
2 shots of espresso (approx. 2 oz)
2 oz Amarula Cream Liqueur
4 oz barista-style coconut milk
1 tsp maple syrup (optional)
1 cup large ice cubes
Toasted coconut flakes for garnish
Instructions
Step 1: Brew two shots of espresso and let them cool for at least two minutes to avoid melting the ice too quickly.
Step 2: Stir the maple syrup into the warm espresso until fully dissolved.
Step 3: Fill a tall glass with large ice cubes.
Step 4: Pour the espresso over the ice, then follow with the Amarula Cream Liqueur.
Step 5: Slowly pour the coconut milk over the mixture and stir gently to create a marbled effect.
Step 6: Garnish with toasted coconut flakes and serve immediately.
Notes
For a dairy-free version, ensure your Amarula is the ‘Vegan’ plant-based variety if available in your region, though the standard cream liqueur contains dairy.
