Ingredients
4 cold-water lobster tails (approx. 6 oz each)
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
Lemon wedges for serving
Instructions
Step 1: Preheat your oven broiler to high and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.
Step 2: Using kitchen shears, cut through the top of the lobster shell down to the tail, but do not cut through the bottom shell or the tail fin.
Step 3: Gently pull the shell apart and lift the meat through the opening, resting it on top of the shell. Rinse and pat dry.
Step 4: In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, minced garlic, paprika, lemon juice, and salt to create the basting sauce for this lobster tail recipe.
Step 5: Generously brush the garlic butter over the lobster meat, ensuring it gets into the crevices.
Step 6: Broil the lobster tails for 8-10 minutes, or until the meat is white and opaque and the internal temperature reaches 140°F.
Step 7: Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately with extra lemon wedges.
Notes
Always use cold-water lobster for the best texture. If using frozen, ensure they are fully thawed.
