ninja slushie machine recipes - Close-up of a vibrant Berry Lemonade Slushie in a tall glass, garnished with fresh berries and a lemon slice, made with a Ninja machine.

Berry Lemonade Ninja Slushie

A vibrant and refreshing Berry Lemonade Slushie made effortlessly in your Ninja machine. This sweet and tart icy treat is perfect for cooling down on a hot day, customizable for both kids and adults.

  • Total Time: 5 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale

3 cups (about 450g) frozen mixed berries (strawberries, raspberries, blueberries)
1/2 cup fresh lemon juice (from 2–3 lemons)
1/2 cup simple syrup (or to taste, see notes for making)
1 cup cold water
Optional: Fresh lemon slices and berries for garnish

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare simple syrup if not already made. Combine equal parts sugar and water (e.g., 1 cup sugar, 1 cup water) in a small saucepan. Heat over medium until sugar dissolves. Let cool completely, then chill.
Step 2: Add frozen mixed berries, fresh lemon juice, simple syrup, and cold water to your Ninja blender pitcher. Ensure liquids are added first, then frozen ingredients for smoother blending.
Step 3: Secure the lid. Start blending on a low setting, then increase to high. Use the ‘crush’ or ‘smoothie’ function if available. Blend until the mixture is completely smooth and has a thick, slushy consistency. You may need to pulse and scrape down the sides.
Step 4: Taste the slushie and adjust sweetness or tartness as desired. Add more simple syrup for sweetness or more lemon juice for tartness, blending briefly after each addition.
Step 5: Pour immediately into chilled glasses. Garnish with fresh lemon slices or extra berries if desired. Serve and enjoy your refreshing Berry Lemonade Slushie!

Notes

For best results, use good quality frozen berries and freshly squeezed lemon juice. You can adjust the amount of simple syrup to suit your sweetness preference. If using fresh berries, freeze them for at least 2 hours before blending for a thicker slushie. For an adult version, add 1-2 shots of vodka or rum per serving.
