Ingredients
2 cups heavy whipping cream, cold
1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract (or vanilla bean paste)
Pinch of salt (optional, to balance sweetness)
Instructions
Step 1: Place a large mixing bowl and your beaters in the freezer for 15 minutes to chill before starting the no churn vanilla ice cream recipe.
Step 2: Pour the cold heavy whipping cream into the chilled bowl and beat on medium-high speed until stiff peaks form.
Step 3: In a separate medium bowl, stir together the sweetened condensed milk, vanilla extract, and salt until well combined.
Step 4: Gently fold a large scoop of the whipped cream into the condensed milk mixture to lighten it up.
Step 5: Pour the condensed milk mixture into the remaining whipped cream and fold very gently with a spatula until no streaks remain, being careful not to deflate the cream.
Step 6: Pour the mixture into a freezer-safe container, smooth the top, and cover with plastic wrap (pressing it against the surface) and a lid.
Step 7: Freeze for at least 6 hours, or ideally overnight, until firm and scoopable.
Notes
For the best texture, always use full-fat heavy cream. You can add mix-ins like chocolate chips or crushed cookies in Step 5.
