Ingredients
2 scoops (60g) Chocolate Whey or Casein Protein Powder
1/2 cup Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
1/4 cup Oat Flour
1/2 cup Creamy Almond Butter
1/4 cup Pure Maple Syrup or Monk Fruit Syrup
2 Large Eggs
1/4 cup Unsweetened Almond Milk
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
1/4 tsp Salt
1/4 cup Dark Chocolate Chips (optional)
Instructions
Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8-inch square baking pan with parchment paper, leaving a slight overhang on the sides for easy removal.
Step 2: In a medium bowl, whisk together the protein powder, cocoa powder, oat flour, and salt until well combined and no large lumps remain.
Step 3: In a separate large bowl, whisk the eggs, almond butter, syrup, almond milk, and vanilla extract until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
Step 4: Gradually add the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients, stirring gently with a spatula just until the batter is uniform. Do not over-mix. Fold in chocolate chips if using.
Step 5: Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and smooth the top with a spatula. Bake for 18-22 minutes, or until the edges are set but the center still looks slightly soft.
Step 6: Remove from the oven and allow the brownies to cool completely in the pan for at least 30 minutes before slicing into 9 even squares.
Notes
For the best texture, use a whey-casein blend protein powder. Allow the brownies to cool fully to ensure they set properly.
