Ingredients
1 cup cold brew coffee or 2 shots of espresso
1 scoop vanilla whey or plant-based protein powder
1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk or milk of choice
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 pinch sea salt
Ice cubes (optional for iced version)
Instructions
Step 1: Pour your coffee or espresso into a large mug or a shaker bottle, depending on whether you want it hot or cold.
Step 2: In a separate small bowl, whisk the protein powder with the milk and vanilla extract until a smooth, lump-free paste or slurry is formed.
Step 3: Slowly pour the protein slurry into the coffee while stirring constantly with a spoon or using a handheld milk frother for maximum creaminess.
Step 4: Add a pinch of sea salt and ice if desired, then serve immediately.
Notes
Avoid using boiling water directly on the protein powder to prevent clumping. If the mixture clumps, a quick 5-second pulse in a blender will fix it.
