Ingredients
3 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup white chocolate melting wafers
1 tablespoon coconut oil (optional, for thinning)
Instructions
Step 1: Line an 8×8 inch square baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on the sides for easy removal of the skeleton chocolate fudge recipe.
Step 2: In a large microwave-safe bowl, combine the semi-sweet chocolate chips and the sweetened condensed milk for your skeleton chocolate fudge recipe.
Step 3: Microwave the mixture in 30-second intervals, stirring well after each session until the chocolate is completely melted and the mixture is smooth.
Step 4: Stir in the vanilla extract and salt until fully incorporated into the skeleton chocolate fudge recipe base.
Step 5: Pour the fudge into the prepared pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
Step 6: Melt the white chocolate wafers in a separate small bowl. Transfer the melted white chocolate to a piping bag or a small plastic bag with a tiny corner snipped off.
Step 7: Carefully pipe skeleton shapes (skulls and bones) onto the surface of the fudge. This is the most creative part of the skeleton chocolate fudge recipe!
Step 8: Refrigerate the skeleton chocolate fudge recipe for at least 3 hours, or until completely firm.
Step 9: Use the parchment overhang to lift the fudge out of the pan and slice into 16 squares with a sharp knife.
Notes
For the cleanest cuts, dip your knife in hot water and wipe it dry between each slice of the fudge.
