Ingredients
1 (12-count) package King’s Hawaiian sweet rolls
1 lb thinly sliced deli ham
8–10 slices Swiss cheese
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 tbsp Dijon mustard
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp onion powder
Optional: 1 tbsp sesame seeds
Instructions
Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
Step 2: Carefully slice the entire slab of Hawaiian rolls horizontally through the middle, keeping the top and bottom halves intact. Place the bottom half of the rolls into the prepared baking dish.
Step 3: Layer the thinly sliced ham evenly over the bottom rolls. Follow with an even layer of Swiss cheese slices on top of the ham.
Step 4: Place the top half of the Hawaiian rolls back over the cheese and ham layers. Gently press down.
Step 5: In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and onion powder until well combined.
Step 6: Evenly pour or brush the butter mixture over the top of the assembled sliders. Sprinkle with sesame seeds, if using.
Step 7: Cover the baking dish tightly with aluminum foil. Bake for 15 minutes.
Step 8: Remove the foil and continue to bake for another 5-10 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown and the cheese is bubbly and melted.
Step 9: Remove from the oven and let rest for a few minutes. Cut along the pre-scored lines of the rolls to separate into individual sliders. Serve warm.
Notes
For best results, use freshly sliced deli meat. If making ahead, assemble the sliders without the buttery topping, cover, and refrigerate. Add the topping and bake just before serving.
