Ingredients
4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
1/4 cup honey
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon sriracha (adjust to taste)
1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon olive oil
Salt and black pepper to taste
Fresh parsley or green onions for garnish
Instructions
Step 1: Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt and pepper.
Step 2: In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, sriracha, and lime juice until well combined.
Step 3: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Place salmon fillets in the pan, flesh-side down, and sear for 3-4 minutes until golden.
Step 4: Flip the salmon. Add minced garlic to the pan and cook for 30 seconds. Pour the honey mixture over the salmon.
Step 5: Reduce heat to medium. Simmer the sauce for 2-3 minutes, basting the salmon frequently, until the sauce has thickened and the salmon is cooked through.
Step 6: Garnish with fresh parsley or green onions and serve immediately with your choice of sides.
Notes
Ensure the pan is hot before adding the salmon to get a crispy sear. For a milder version, reduce the sriracha to one teaspoon.
