Ingredients
1 bag (16 oz) mini pretzel twists
3/4 cup canola oil or vegetable oil
1 tablespoon red pepper flakes
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon lemon pepper
1 packet (1 oz) dry ranch seasoning mix
Instructions
Step 1: Preheat your oven to 250°F (120°C) and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
Step 2: In a small bowl or measuring cup, whisk together the oil, ranch seasoning, red pepper flakes, garlic powder, onion powder, and lemon pepper until well combined.
Step 3: Place the pretzels in a large mixing bowl or a 2-gallon resealable plastic bag. Pour the oil and spice mixture over the pretzels.
Step 4: Toss or shake the pretzels thoroughly for about 2-3 minutes to ensure every pretzel is evenly coated with the spicy mixture.
Step 5: Spread the seasoned pretzels onto the prepared baking sheet in an even, single layer.
Step 6: Bake for 45 minutes, removing the tray every 15 minutes to stir the pretzels. This ensures even cooking and prevents the spices from burning.
Step 7: Remove from the oven and allow the spicy pretzels to cool completely on the pan before transferring to an airtight container.
Notes
For extra heat, increase the red pepper flakes to 2 tablespoons. Store in an airtight glass container for up to 2 weeks for maximum freshness.
