Ingredients
10 oz milk chocolate bars, roughly chopped (or 1 ½ cups milk chocolate chips)
1 (10 oz) bag large marshmallows
1 box graham crackers, for serving
Instructions
Step 1: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Step 2: Lightly grease an 8-inch cast iron skillet or a comparable oven-safe baking dish with butter or non-stick spray.
Step 3: Spread the chopped milk chocolate evenly over the bottom of the prepared skillet or dish.
Step 4: Arrange the large marshmallows on top of the chocolate layer, covering it completely.
Step 5: Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the chocolate is melted and bubbly, and the marshmallows are golden brown and puffed. Keep a close eye on them to prevent burning. If desired, broil for 1-2 minutes for extra browning, watching constantly.
Step 6: Carefully remove the skillet from the oven and serve immediately with graham crackers for dipping. Be cautious, as the skillet will be extremely hot.
Notes
For an extra-gooey chocolate layer, warm the chocolate in the skillet for a few minutes before adding marshmallows. Watch marshmallows closely under the broiler as they can burn quickly. Serve immediately for the best experience. Leftovers can be gently reheated in a low oven.
